January is a big month for resolutions.
My #1 goal for 2013?
Keeping my focus on voice over!

I recently contracted with Such-A-Voice to work one-on-one with a very specific gentleman that’s been in voice over for many years.  His name is Michael Yurchak, & he’s pretty big in the world of acting & voice over in Los Angeles.  For the next few weeks, we are working together to make sure my voice recordings the very best they can be.

Included in the training cost are two professional voice over demos.  I’ll record the tracks & the studio will put them together with background sound/music to showcase the work I am capable of doing for businesses, studios & agents around the world.  Professional demos are important.  They can help you land roles for all the different voice jobs that are available, such as commercials, narrations, smartphone apps, video games, eLearning tracks, voicemail systems & eBooks/audiobooks.

If you’ve been following my blog, you know that last year I won a pretty big contract with a non-profit entity to record the Grand Teton National Park Smartphone app.  It was one of the largest projects I’ve ever done & it was dream come true for my VO career.

& interestingly enough, I’m celebrating the money I made with that project by putting it right back into my voice training . . . I can’t wait to share with you what I’ve recorded & put together as my best!

Happy Recording!
